The secret is out. Pantone has released its Color of the Year for 2017, and it's Greenery. It's a "trans-seasonal" color, which means there are tons of color combinations that you can create with it. Pantone calls it "nature's neutral," so it can be paired with brights, metallics, pastels or other neutrals.

When it comes to decorating your home, there are some colors from the Pantone palette that you should definitely try! Whether you use these colors alone, or pair them with Greenery, you'll be seeing a lot of these gorgeous hues in homes this year.

Rose Quartz

Create a calm, feminine vibe in your home with the sweet sight of rose quartz. Use abundantly for a dramatic statement, or just as an accessory to give your space a touch of girly flair.

Baton Rouge

Purple will be making an appearance under the name baton rouge this year. The fucshia-esque hue is great for adding a punch of color to a room. This vibrant, youthful shade would look fabulous in a teenager's room, or the living area of a single lady who can proudly display her love of purple.

Caramel Cafe

Step up your neutral game with the warm shade of caramel cafe this year. Large pieces of furniture like sofas or recliners can lay out the foundation of a room, allowing for contrasting colors to make a big statement.

True Blue

From nautical inspired rooms to baby boy nurserys, true blue is the way to bring out the boyish shade in 2017. Try fun fabrics like denim or velvet to add texture to your home.

Scarlet Ibis

Orange you glad that scarlet ibis is on the Pantone spectrum this year? Ok, bad joke...but this eye-catching color will definitely spice up a boring space!

Drizzle

Serene and relaxing drizzle will tone down your home design in a chic way. Bright colors in the Pantone palette like fandango or calypso coral are great pairings for livening up your space.
