A cake fit for a queen.
Beyoncé just celebrated her 36th birthday on Monday and wasn't about to settle for any ol' cake. In fact, her team dropped a whopping $3,500 dollars on a black and yellow geode cake.
According to Page Six, the cake was made by the Cake Life Bake Shop in Philly and was devoured by Queen B and her loved ones at the Made In America Festival. The shops geode cakes “start at $3,500 and go up in price depending on detail, complexity, and size."
"Happy Birthday, @Beyonce!," the shop wrote. "We hope you enjoyed this custom geode cake at your party last night!! 👑🐝🍰✨ It was an honor to be a part of your big day!"
In addition to the geode cake, they also made adorable crown and beehive cookies:
Beyoncé spent her big three-six at the Made In America Festival and the Cake Life Bake Shop team “escorted the cake and cookies to a private area behind the festival stage.”
Hope your birthday was a dream come true, Bey! Now we're left wondering if that cake tasted as good as $3,500...
